VIKTOR KLOCHAI WAS AWARDED A NEW AWARD - THE TITLE OF "HONORARY INDUSTRIALIST OF THE NIZHNY NOVGOROD REGION"
26 марта 2024
The results of the Nizhny Novgorod industry in 2023 and plans for 2024 were discussed at a large-scale profile meeting of the regional Ministry of Industry at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, chaired by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Gleb Nikitin.
The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region Evgeny Lyulin, Deputy Governor Andrey Sanosyan, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the region Maxim Cherkasov, representatives of business support infrastructure and heads of industrial enterprises of the region.
Gleb Nikitin noted that the responsible position of Nizhny Novgorod industrialists made it possible to quickly adapt to new working conditions, prevent the economy from falling and at the same time reach the growth level of the main development indicators.
"The volume of shipped industrial products in 2023 exceeded 2 billion rubles, which is 20 percent more than in 2022. The production index throughout the year showed positive dynamics and higher rates than the average in Russia. The industrial production index amounted to 110.6 percent," Gleb Nikitin stressed.
Separately, the head of the region noted the task of modernizing the personnel training system for industry, in particular, using tools similar to the Professionalism program. He called on industrialists to participate in solving this problem — to join the work on the modernization of colleges and technical schools.
"We are ready to support the model of "Professionalism" as an exceptionally correct and necessary direction at the expense of exclusively regional funds. That is, if we have not received federal support, we are ready to implement a cluster development program here in the region. Competition between enterprises is already beginning for personnel, and our task is to ensure that every single organization of special vocational education in the region is included in the development program. If there is no interest from industrial partners in their activities, we will need to repurpose them and focus on other industries," Gleb Nikitin said.
The governor also said that in order to improve the personnel situation, it is planned, in accordance with the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to attract highly qualified foreign specialists who share traditional Russian values.
"We are actively developing the direction of attracting such specialists from abroad who, for ideological reasons, want to move to Russia, including from unfriendly countries. This is in line with the policy outlined by the President of the country. In the Nizhny Novgorod region, 40 resumes of highly qualified specialists are currently under consideration — technicians, designers, specialists in working with software-controlled machines. Pay close attention to these summaries!" the head of the region addressed the heads of industrial organizations.
This year, during the final meeting, the award "Honorary Industrialist" of the Nizhny Novgorod region was presented for the first time. The badge of honor will be awarded annually for a significant contribution to the development of the region's industry, including the implementation of projects to create new production facilities and technical re-equipment of existing ones, to develop and introduce innovative products.
"The first recipients of the award were the heads of the largest enterprises in the region, on whom, without exaggeration, the stability of production of strategically important products for the country and the quality of life of Nizhny Novgorod residents depend. The award was given to the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ruspolimet Viktor Klochai, Director of RFNC — VNIIEF Valentin Kostyukov, President of GAZ Group Vadim Sorokin, General Director of Heat Exchanger Viktor Tyatinkin and Vasily Shupranov, General Director of the Nizhny Novgorod Plant for the 70th Anniversary of Victory," said Andrei Sanosyan.
Maxim Cherkasov, Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, noted that in 2023, enterprises showed readiness for changes — increasing production volumes, launching completely new products, and developing innovative projects.
"This is the result of their mature professional position, patriotism, as well as trust in the state, formed thanks to our joint work in recent years. Together, we — the executive and legislative authorities, representatives of enterprises, business associations, experts — worked to create new measures to support business," the minister said.
He added that one of the tasks currently facing the ministry is to promote opportunities for providing federal support measures to businesses. During 2023, Nizhny Novgorod enterprises received more than 33 billion rubles from the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, which is a record amount. Funds have been raised for 27 programs.
"The industry of the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2023 showed its ability to develop effectively, despite sanctions and an increase in the Central Bank rate. The growth rates are many times higher than the average Russian figures — this is a breakthrough that allows our region to be rightfully called the "locomotive of the Russian economy." Of course, this achievement is the result of the work of our industrialists and a well—thought-out policy of state support implemented by the regional government and the Legislative Assembly. Unprecedented benefits have been established in the region for a number of industries. The joint work of the government and the business community allows us to unlock the potential of the Nizhny Novgorod industry," commented Yevgeny Lyulin.
Following the event, the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, presented honorary standards to 17 enterprises in the region for achieving the best performance indicators based on the results of performance assessment, including Ruspolimet JSC in the Metallurgy industry.

RES ENGINEERING PRESENTED A UNIQUE SAMPLE OF A DISC SHUTTER AT THE EXHIBITION

The ATOMEXPO-2024 exhibition has started its work in Sochi. It has been held annually since 2009. The RES Engineering enterprise, which is part of the Ruspolimet group of companies, demonstrates its scientific and technical achievements at it.
ATOMEXPO is a unique event. It is dedicated to atomic energy and its application in various fields of life. Experts, scientists, and entrepreneurs gather at the exhibition site to demonstrate and discuss progress and achievements in the global nuclear industry.
At the ATOMEXPO exhibition, visitors get acquainted with the most advanced nuclear energy technologies, the latest scientific discoveries and research in this field. There are expositions of leading companies working in the field of nuclear energy. This is a great opportunity for industry representatives to get to know each other, share experiences and establish new business contacts.
At the RES Engineering stand, a unique sample of a two-eccentric disc gate DN 350 made of titanium alloy, which is designed for operation at the Akkuyu NPP, is presented.
The gate design was developed by specialists of the RES Engineering company. Its distinctive feature is that the shutter is made of titanium plates, not cast alloys. The use of titanium makes it possible to significantly improve the technical characteristics of valves for nuclear power plants and extend its service life. Previously, similar fittings made of titanium plates were supplied to nuclear power plants only for small DN (<150 mm), now the diameter ranges from 350 to 600 mm.
The decision to use titanium plates made Ruspolimet JSC a unique supplier of titanium disc valves of safety class 2 for nuclear power plants.
