PARLIAMENTARY DAY IN KULEBAKI

27.12.2022

On October 4, the Parliamentary Day of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region was held in the city district of Kulebaki.

The event was attended by Chairman of the regional Parliament Yevgeny Lyulin, deputies of the Legislative Assembly of the Nizhny Novgorod region, representatives of executive authorities and local self-government bodies of the region, deputies of the Council of Deputies of the city of Kulebaki, employees of the municipal administration, heads of enterprises of the Kulebaki-Vyksa-Navashino industrial cluster, representatives of educational institutions of the region, as well as representatives of the Nizhny Novgorod Association of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs" and the autonomous non-profit organization "Regional Recruitment Agency".

Valery Yurasov, the head of the local self-government of Kulebaki, Pavel Igoshin, Chairman of the City Council of Deputies, and Maxim Klochai, General Director of Ruspolimet JSC, also addressed welcoming words to the participants of the event. - The management of Ruspolimet is interested in making the city more comfortable to live in, since our company is the main employer in the district, - Maxim Klochai added. Within the framework of the Parliamentary Day, meetings of four sections of the relevant committees of the Legislative Assembly were held: on economy and industry, on ecology and natural resources, on road management and on youth policy.

The "round table" under the leadership of the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Committee on Economy, Industry, Entrepreneurship Support, Trade and Tourism Igor Norenkov was held in the conference hall of JSC "Ruspolimet". The main topic for discussion was the issue of personnel shortage – this problem is acute not only in the Nizhny Novgorod region, but also in the country as a whole. Nina Kubantseva, HR Director of Ruspolimet JSC, presented a succinct report on the shortage of personnel in small towns. - We have done a very serious job of attracting personnel to our company, including from other countries. To date, 98.4% of vacancies have been closed. In our opinion, a serious reason for the shortage of labor in small towns is the outflow of young people. Therefore, we are now working with young people in three directions at once – dual training of KMK students, the creation of educational clusters and we are implementing a career guidance program for teenagers and young people," Nina Kubantseva said. The participants of the section visited the CMC and were able to assess the ongoing changes in the educational institution.

As part of the Parliamentary Day, a sightseeing tour of the production site of the city-forming enterprise "Ruspolimet" was held for the guests - an electrometallurgy workshop, a radial forging workshop, a ring rolling workshop, a forging and pressing workshop. With their own eyes, the guests of the city saw the process of melting ingots on VIP furnaces in the workshop of special electrometallurgy. They also visited the Grankom enterprise, the only one in our country that produces metal powders and products from them, and the Vacuum Metallurgy Plant, a high-tech complex for the production of titanium ingots that has no analogues in Russia and the CIS.

Summing up the results of the Parliamentary Day in Kulebaki, Yevgeny Lyulin noted that all sections had done a lot of serious work, studied all the problems of the district. - The city needs a separate attentive attitude, a lot has been missed. Kulebaki lag far behind in their appearance and culture from many cities of the Nizhny Novgorod region. This is despite the fact that there is such a modern enterprise as Ruspolimet. I see how the plant is changing rapidly, everything is done there for comfortable work and stay of employees. That's the same thing to do with the city," the head of the regional parliament summed up.
