Today, metallurgy is one of the basic industries on which the entire power of the modern economy rests. And we are proud that there is a part of our work in this. This confirms the fact that our company was awarded the Honorary Standard of the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region for its contribution to the socio-economic development of the region and the Badge of Honor "For success in work", which means that each of you, because this is the merit of the entire enterprise team, for which we thank all employees of the company. It is a great honor and high responsibility for us, a serious incentive for further effective work. Another significant event took place this week - we launched a new complex of special metallurgy, which was launched by President Vladimir Putin, also congratulating the Kulebachan metallurgists on their professional holiday.

A lot has been done over the past year. Together with the enterprises of the Rosatom state Corporation, R&D was carried out, the technology for the production of products of real applicability was worked out, including casing parts of a pumping group and a small nuclear reactor for the nuclear industry, as well as oil and gas, aviation and shipbuilding by hot isostatic powder pressing. This is also the merit of two metallurgical companies - Grankom LLC and Vacuum Metallurgy Plant LLC. 

In recent years, we have been actively developing in the field of special engineering - we have developed and started manufacturing a number of equipment for mining, nuclear and other industries. New production facilities for the manufacture of specialized equipment for the nuclear industry have been created at Ruspolimet: TUKS (for the transportation of spent nuclear fuel) - the first transport packaging set was made for the Akkuyu NPP under construction in Turkey. Together with the container, equipment for its maintenance was also sent to the nuclear power plant. Another significant event is the launch on July 20 at the site of the customer of ODK-UMPO by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov of the largest gas station in terms of standard sizes and technical characteristics, developed by the company belonging to the Ruspolimet group - LLC Special Metallurgical Engineering, and manufactured at another enterprise of the group – CJSC Drobmash. 

We do not plan to stop there. Today, the group's development program until 2030, which involves 20 billion rubles of investments, is under consideration. We are confident that all the set goals will be achieved, because we are a cohesive, highly effective team.

Vladimir Putin launched the work of a new special metallurgy complex built at the Ruspolimet metallurgical plant via video link. 

The site, designed to produce high-quality metal for mechanical engineering, was launched during a meeting with the president dedicated to the development of domestic metallurgy. Governor Gleb Nikitin and the head of the enterprise Viktor Klochai got in touch from the workshop of special electrometallurgy of Ruspolimet.  

In the report, the industrialist said that over the past 15 years, a large-scale re-equipment program has been carried out at the plant, as a result, a world-class complex in the field of special metallurgy has been created, whose products are used in leading industries. To increase production, a new site has been built, where two new furnaces are put into operation on the eve of a professional holiday - Metallurgist's Day.

According to Viktor Klochai, three more vacuum arc (VDP) and electroslag remelting (ESP) furnaces will be launched at Ruspolimet by the end of September. 

As reported, with the introduction of a series of new installations, Ruspolimet in 2024 will almost double the production of metal by vacuum arc and electroslag smelting methods. 

Recall that the first stage of the Ruspolimet special electrometallurgy workshop consisting of three VDP furnaces and three ESP furnaces was built in 2014-2017. It is one of the best centers of special metallurgy in Europe.

The increased volume of orders for flat blanks made of heat-resistant nickel-based alloy steels (sutunku) in the forging machining shop (CMOP) required an increase in production capacity. In this regard, an investment project is being implemented in the division, within the framework of which five additional units will complement the equipment already available in the workshop. 

At the initial stage of the project, a vertical milling machine 65A80F1 was delivered to the CMOP production site, designed for milling and drilling parts made of various steels and alloys. During operation, it was necessary to expand the technical capabilities of the unit. The machine is currently under modernization, after which it will be put back into operation.   

The next stage was the purchase of two EVERISING H-8276V band saws, which are necessary for high-precision cutting and subsequent work with workpieces. Similar machines have been successfully operated by the staff of the special electrometallurgy workshop for quite a long time. The positive experience of colleagues and advanced technological characteristics contributed to the decision to purchase this equipment. According to Roman Vyacheslavovich CHERNOV, head of the CMOP, the advantage of the purchased cutting units is the interchangeability of the ribbon web.

Another universal milling machine 65A80PMF is currently carrying out commissioning work by the workshop staff together with the repair services of the enterprise. We plan to launch it this month. The machine is equipped with a CNC function and is designed for milling forgings of rectangular cross-section. Personnel who undergo special training have been selected to work on the above equipment. 

The acquired machines make it possible not only to evenly load the production areas of the workshop, but also to increase, compared with previous periods, the output of a slouch several times. Also, thanks to this equipment, the division will complete the outsourcing process. 

According to Roman Vyacheslavovich, the volume of products is growing every month. For example, at the beginning of the year, the monthly output was about 20 tons, and in June this figure exceeded 32 tons. The workshop is provided with orders until the end of this year. The customers are domestic enterprises, in particular PJSC Ashinsky Metallurgical Plant, PJSC ODK-Saturn, etc.

The investment project "Increase in machining Capacity" is being implemented by the CMOP team together with specialists from the logistics Department, the Investment and Projects Department and the Chief Engineer's service. With the purchase of the last machine, the project will be closed.
