In accordance with the approved investment plan and due to production necessity, in 2023, Ruspolimet JSC specialists began implementing an investment project to modernize the slag processing site related to the pre-production workshop (CPP). According to the schedule, the project will be completed in December this year.
At the initial stage of the investment project "Modernization of the CPP slag processing site", a new crushing and screening plant DSU 644-22-3 (produced by Drobmash CJSC) was purchased and installed, which is used for crushing and sorting slag. The length of the sorting line of the complex is 105 meters, the width is 18 meters. Installation work was carried out by specialists of OOO "Plant "Start". The previous installation had been in operation since 2013 and had exhausted its capabilities by the time the project was implemented, so it was dismantled.
- Unlike the previous one, the new crushing and screening complex is supplemented with special equipment - a "screen" consisting of several vibrating gratings for separating bulk materials into fractions, and a metal separator, - says the master of the Central Processing Plant Igor Evgenievich TIMIN. - Each fraction has its own size (up to 20 mm, from 20 to 40 mm, over 40 mm) and can be used for certain purposes. Basically, the sorted slag is used for filling foundations, filling roads both in the factory and in the city district, and the metal extracted from the slag is returned to the production site for remelting. The site produces about 10 thousand tons of sorted slag per year.
As part of the investment project, a bucket loader was purchased for the slag processing site. Several staff units have been opened: a loader driver, a crane driver, two crushing and screening plant drivers. A control cabin is equipped for DSU drivers, a modern video surveillance system is installed at the guard post, which allows you to control access to the protected area.
This year, a new electric crane with a magnetic plate will be installed. For the staff of the site, household premises are equipped with the necessary communications.

On February 14, a Forum of national achievements in industry was held in Moscow at the site of the International Exhibition "Russia".
The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia demonstrated to the guests of VDNH innovative solutions at domestic enterprises, successful examples of joint work between government and business and told about the specifics of the work of different industries. Nizhny Novgorod Region presented the largest industrial enterprises in the region, including JSC Ruspolymet.
The specialists of the HR Directorate of our company attended today's forum, in between official events they were able to communicate with the participants of this meeting, talk about our plant and the advantages of working at Ruspolimet JSC.

On February 7, KUPNO hosted the first meeting of the Coordinating Council for the Implementation of Personnel Strategy projects in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
JSC Ruspolymet took an active part in the development of a Personnel Strategy in the field of Industry. And now N.N. Kubantseva, HR Director of Ruspolimet, has been invited to the Coordinating Council.
At the first meeting, issues of creating an environment for the development of the labor market, problems of staffing the industrial sector of the economy, the main personnel projects of 2023-2025 were discussed. Nina Nikolaevna shared the experience of our company in attracting personnel, working with young people, including our career guidance project on educational and production clusters for schoolchildren.
The participation of the HR director of Ruspolimet in the work of the personnel coordinating council allows us to transfer our experience to the regional level, as well as gives ideas for new HR projects.
